Warehouse Planning Supervisor

The Plibrico Company is seeking a Warehouse Planning Supervisor for a position located in the Bartow, Florida area.  The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for three primary aspects of the Branch operations. 1) Warehouse operations, including material ordering, receiving and shipment and inventory accuracy. 2) Responsible for coordinating and staffing projects 3) Construction Equipment and supplies – ensuring all equipment and supplies are well maintained, SAFE to operate and are in good working order.

Responsibilities and essential functions include:

• Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through the oversight and recording of all inventory transactions, including receipt, stocking, storing, labeling, casing, packing and distributing all materials and supplies
• Responsible for supervising and preparing material deliveries to both job site deliveries and customers
• Studies production schedules to determine and schedule work assignments according to worker availability and job requirements. This equates to approximately 50% of the total workload for this position
• Acts as a liaison with Local Union Representative for scheduling crews

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent work experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of small engines to be able to repair and maintain construction equipment
• CDL License preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
