Product Information: Plicast®️ Fast Track 75-31 is based on a bauxite aggregate system. The material is a 75 % alumina, ultra-low cement castable designed to be put into service more rapidly than traditional low and ultra-low cement materials. Cure times can be reduced to 4 hrs, though for ideal physical characteristics 8 hrs is recommended. After curing, heat can progress at rates of up to 100°F/hr with no temperature hold (linear schedule). Please refer to Plibrico’s bake out schedule FT for specifics. Other product characteristics include:
- High strength especially hot MOR at elevated temperature
- Low abrasion loss <10cc loss
- Good volume stability
- Good resistance to alkali attack and slags
Plicast Fast Track 75-31 has good flow and setting characteristics allowing it to be place by vibration, casting or pumping.
