Product Information: Pligun®️ LWI®️ 26 is a higher temperature insulating gun mix. With a service limit of 2600°F, and good strength, this material is suitable as either a backup insulating component or as a “one shot” hot face lining. In addition, the low iron content in Pligun LWI 26 makes it ideal for use in reducing combustion applications. Other product advantages include:

• Low iron content – <1%
• Medium density – ~85 pcf
• Good CCS and hot strength
• Nice volume stability, positive linear change at the service limit
• Good gunability
