Product Information: Plicast® Al-Shield™ GHC 8 KK is an 80% alumina, low cement aluminum resistant castable.   This premium castable utilizes a bauxite aggregate, with a modified high purity matrix.    To maximize resistance to molten aluminum attack and reaction at temperatures up to 2000°F, the modified matrix includes a high temperature aluminum resistant additive system.   Plicast Al-Shield GHC 8 KK product enhancements and advantages include:
