Product Information: Plicast®️ LWI 606 is a very high temperature (3300°F) semi- insulating castable. It is based on a bubble-alumina aggregate with a high purity alumina matrix and bonding system. This combination produces a castable which performs excellent in highly reducing and hydrogen rich atmospheres. Product advantages include:

• Very pure high alumina chemistry <1.5% impurities (iron, silica and alkalies)
• Medium density ~95 pcf
• Good CCS and hot strength
• Moderate thermal conductivity
• Good volume stability
