Product Information

Plistix ABR is an ultra abrasion-resistant castable refractory.   This castable utilizes a hybrid calcium aluminate/phosphate bond and is designed to yield high strength and abrasion resistance over a wide temperature range.   The material can be installed by ramming, tamping or vibration casting.   Bake out is per Plibrico Schedule C or C Linear.   Plistix ABR product advantages include:

  • Low, uniform abrasion loss of 3cc or less, from room temperature to over 2000°F
  • High crushing strength and hot MOR
  • Single component system “just add water”

Product Information: Plistix™️ 900 F is a versatile high temperature service mix. Based on a corundum aggregate and matrix, with a phosphate bond, it has applications in furnaces, boilers and process vessels in virtually every industry. Supplied as a damp powder, it is mixed with water to various consistencies to be used as a coating, grout, putty and mortar. Use this material to service and repair cracks, spalls and worn refractories … it can also function as a bonding enhancer with plastic repairs. Product advantages include:

  • 3400°F serviced limit
  • High alumina and low iron content
