Product Information: Plistix SR-90 is fine grain, high alumina, phosphate bonded “plaster” type of refractory service mix. Similar in chemistry and minerology other Plibrico high alumina phosphate bond plastic refractories (Plibrico 90 S, and Plibrico SR-90), Plistix SR-90 is manufactured in a thick mortar type consistency making it ideal for patching and service applications. It can be applied as is from the bucket for troweling, or thinned with water for a grout or wash coat. Product attributes include:
- High service limit – 3300°F
- Plaster type consistency
- Good bonding strength to old refractory
- Good slag resistance
- Non-wetting to aluminum alloys
- Meets ASTM classification C673 90% Alumina

Similar in chemistry and minerology to the other Plibrico Company mullite based phosphate bond plastic refractories (Plibrico 68, S, SA), Plistix SR-68 is manufactured with a thick mortar type consistency making it ideal for patching and service applications. It can be applied with a trowel as is from the bucket, or thinned with water for a grout or wash coat. Product attributes include:

Plistix ABR is an ultra abrasion-resistant castable refractory. This castable utilizes a hybrid calcium aluminate/phosphate bond and is designed to yield high strength and abrasion resistance over a wide temperature range. The material can be installed by ramming, tamping or vibration casting. Bake out is per Plibrico Schedule C or C Linear. Plistix ABR product advantages include:
- Low, uniform abrasion loss of 3cc or less, from room temperature to over 2000°F
- High crushing strength and hot MOR
- Single component system “just add water”

Product Information: Plistix™️ 900 F is a versatile high temperature service mix. Based on a corundum aggregate and matrix, with a phosphate bond, it has applications in furnaces, boilers and process vessels in virtually every industry. Supplied as a damp powder, it is mixed with water to various consistencies to be used as a coating, grout, putty and mortar. Use this material to service and repair cracks, spalls and worn refractories … it can also function as a bonding enhancer with plastic repairs. Product advantages include:
