Product Information: Exo-Set UNO A is a corundum based, chemical bonded castable. It utilizes a dry phosphate bonding system which only requires water for activation. Exo-Set UNO A has excellent casting characteristics and a good working time which allows it to be cast or pumped. It is excellent for both new linings and as a repair material on worn refractory. Exo-Set UNO A product advantages include:
- Excellent adherence and strong re-bond strength on spalled and worn refractory surfaces
- Requires minimal surface preparation prior repairs
- Rapid setting and no minimum time before initial heating
- Superior resistance to aluminum attack and penetration
- Good hot strength through aluminum processing temperatures
- Very good thermal spall resistance
