Product Information: Pli-Shot™ HyMOR® CL 20-M KK is a low cement castable designed for both shotcrete and casting application. This tough castable combines a mullite aggregate and matrix with a 20% silicon carbide addition. Pli-Shot HyMOR CL 20-M KK was specifically engineered for applications in the cement and lime industries; functions where it is critical that the refractories stand-up to alkali and alkli sulfate corrosion and attack. Operational benefits and characteristics include:
- Good strength: cold and hot
- Low abrasion loss < 10 cc per ASTM C704
- Good volume stability and moderate thermal expansion
- Resistant to alkali and alkali sulphate corrosion, including: Na2SO4, K2SO4, NaCl and KCl
- Thermal cycling resistant
