Product Information: Pli-Shot HyMOR®️ 3100 KK is a specifically designed, shotcrete version, of its very popular brother, Plicast HyMOR 3100 KK. Like it’s castable counterpart, it is an 80% alumina, bauxite based low cement castable. The important difference is that it has been optimized for shotcrete application, including a longer setting time and improved pumping characteristics. Alike its Plicast brother, Pli-Shot HyMOR 3100 KK is engineered for higher temperature applications, it’s strength profile, fracture resistance, and other characteristics make it ideal for many different uses. Product advantages include:

Pli-shot Si-Bond M Al is a mullite based, cementless castable enhanced for resistance to aluminum reaction and flux attack. It is a version of Plicast® Si-Bond M Al that has been modified for shotcrete application. This product offers improved pumping characteristics and a longer stiffening time. In aluminum contact and non-contact applications it provides the following benefits:
- Excellent resistance to aluminum attack and corundum growth even at elevated temperatures
- High, consistent hot strength from the aluminum melt range to high temperature >2300oF
- Enhanced mineralogy and low porosity for improved flux and alkali resistance
- Quicker bake out than reduced cement castable options

Product Information: Pli-Shot™ Si-Bond™ B is a high alumina cement free castable, formulated into a shotcrete application. Based on a bauxite aggregate, this material contains a minimal amount of lime and other alkalis, rendering it’s matrix very resistant to high temperature fluxing. In addition, Pli-Shot Si-Bond B is more resistant to slags (acidic through neutral) and alkali attacks than a low or ultra-low cement castables of a similar chemistry. Other product characteristics and benefits include:
- High hot strength 1500°F to 2500°F, and above
- High alumina mineralogy and low porosity for improved slag resistance
- Resistant to alkali vapor attack
- Good refractoriness under load
- Very good abrasion resistance: 9cc per ASTM C704
