Product Information: Redline Redphos 68SA is a mullite-based phosphate-bonded plastic refractory.   This refractory incorporates a high mullite-content aggregate in an alumina-fortified phosphate bonding matrix that utilizes a proprietary monoaluminium phosphate.   Redline Redphos 68SA offers a specific sizing distribution that gives the plastic a smoother texture which can result in improved ramming characteristics with reduced slumping.

Redline Redphos 68SA is ordered in either Stiff (SF), Standard (SD), or Export (EX) workability to conform to installation and storage requirements.

Product Information: Plibrico®️ SiC 80 is a phosphate bond, silicon carbide plastic refractory. This product incorporates Plibrico’s proprietary monoaluminium phosphate, with a refractory grade silicon carbide in an alumina fortified phosphate bonding matrix. The result of this combination is a high silicon content phosphate bonded plastic refractory with low impurities – iron and alkalis. Plibrico SiC 80 also has good workability and stable storage characteristics. Other product attributes include:

• High silicon carbide content – 80% SiC
• Good hot strength
• Low shrinkage
• High thermal conductivity
• Very good slag resistance

Product Information: Plibrico®️ 90 S is a very high alumina, phosphate bond plastic refractory. With a service limit of 3400°F, this plastic utilizes a corundum in an alumina fortified phosphate bonding matrix utilizing Plibrico’s proprietary monoaluminium phosphate. The result is a phosphate bonded plastic refractory with low impurities, iron and alkalies, good workability and stable storage characteristics. Other product attributes include:

• High service limit – 3400°F
• Good hot strength
• Good volume stability through its service temperature range
• Excellent abrasion resistance – 5cc loss per ASTM C 704
• Very good slag resistance
• Non-wetting to aluminum
• Meets ASTM classification C673 90% Alumina

This refractory incorporates a high mullite-content aggregate in an alumina-fortified phosphate bonding matrix that utilizes the Plibrico Company’s proprietary monoaluminium phosphate. Plibrico 68 SA also features an improved aggregate sizing distribution. The improved sizing distribution gives the plastic a smoother texture which can result in improved ramming characteristics with reduced slumping. Other product attributes include:
