Product Information: Plicast® LWI® 20 is a moderate temperature insulating castable.   With a service limit of 2000°F, Plicast LWI 20 possesses low density and thermal efficiency making it suitable for use as either as an efficient backup insulating component or as a primary lining material in less demanding, lower temperature applications.   Product advantages include:

Product Information: Plicast® C/G LWI 23 LI is a premium intermediate temperature insulating castable.   The material contains very high purity calcium aluminate cement and aggregates for the demanding needs of the petrochemical and other heat processing industries.   This material has been engineered to have the flexibility and versatility to be either cast or gunned into place.   Product advantages include:

  • Good CCS and hot strength for a light-weight insulator
  • Good Density: 68 pcf
