Product Information: Plicast® Al-Tuff® Floor Guard HT is a castable designed specifically for hot flooring and splash pads in the aluminum industry. Incorporating an additive system to help eliminate aluminum adherence, Plicast Al-Tuff Floor Guard HT maintains consistent properties from low temperature to above 1700°F. This material has been engineered to develop strength rapidly with only a minimum cure period. The rapid development allows the material to be used in as little as 16 hours. However, for maximum hydraulic strength, a full cure is required. Product advantages include:
- High crushing strength: cured to 1500+°F
- Consistent abrasion resistance <15cc (cured to 1500+°F)
- Thermal spall resistant

Plicast Al-Tuff 80 C KK is a version of Plicast Al-Tuff 3100 KK that utilizes an addition super coarse size bauxite. This product has the same excellent aluminum non-wetting characteristics and physical properties of Plicast Al-Tuff 3100 KK but with enhanced crack, impact, wear, and thermal cycling resistance due to the super coarse aggregate.
