Pligun HyMOR 8 A is a high performance 80% alumina, low cement gun mix.   This product was designed as a primary lining material for demanding applications requiring abrasion resistance and high strength both hot and cold.   Product advantages include:

  • Excellent abrasion resistance – bellow 10cc loss per ASTM C704
  • High cold crushing strength – greater than 8000 psi
  • Very good hot MOR up through and beyond 2000oF
  • Good alkali / slag resistance
